About Us
The Shah Jalal Islamic Foundation’s purpose was to establish a permanent place of worship and education for those of the Islamic faith within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas.
Sutton Central Mosque located on Carshalton Road, Sutton provides the following services: daily congregational prayers, regular educational lessons, Islamic library facility, religious advice and guidance, promotion of interfaith dialogue within the local community as well as providing community services such as counseling and mediation.

Sutton Central Mosque is organised and maintained by The Shah Jalal Islamic Foundation, a registered charity (1114714).
Alhamdulillah we have been granted planning permission to extend and add an additional floor to the Sutton Central Mosque. We require approximately £500,000 for this project and we kindly request our brothers and sisters to help us facilitate the necessary work by donating generously. It is only with the help and support of our community, that will allow us to ensure the Mosque can continue to provide and accommodate in years to come In Sha Allah.
The charity is solely reliant on donations in order to meet its financial needs.
